Vrouwenkwartet ‘Ladybirds’ zingt het programma ‘Be like the bird’.
Op 7 oktober, 19 en 22 oktober zingt het ensemble Ladybirds het programma ‘Be like the bird’. In het programma staat de gewichtloosheid van de klank centraal. Het lied ‘Be like the bird’ van de jonge componiste Abbie Betinis, was de inspiratie voor het thema.
‘Be like the bird that pausing in her flight a while on boughs too slight. Feels them give way beneath her, and sings, and sings and sings knowing she hath wings.’
Zangers in het ensemble zijn: Jacoba Dilg, Heleen van Boeschoten, Janneke Moes en Inge van Keulen.
